I had a worst experience of my girl in 2009 when she was in kindergarten, they made the whole thing seems I had mental illness when my girl get physically abused and bullied in school. I agreed with the other two parents post that they are unorganized and play blamed games! In 2010, her homeroom teacher didn't know she was at the cafeteria and having breakfast (I was regretted to let her tries), it is a big school and she was lost, she went into two different adults and nobody leads her back to her room, and she was just the 1st week back to school and got lost and went outside, can u imagine if there was a sex offender outside and pick up my girl, the whole school won't know until 3:30pm from 9am!

My daughter has attending Lower for 2 years. I have had no problems with the school. The academics are up to date, so up to date, I have no idea what she is doing in math. We both come up with the same answer just different ways. The teacher communication is great. There has been no problems with any of the children in the school. Pottsgrove is online, they even have lunch debit numbers. The PTO is great, tons of fun activities. I would like to see more after school programs offered. The do offer reading programs after school for those who need.

The school is very unorganized, unproffesional and has very weak leadership. This school does not deal with discipline problems that are taking away from the educational rights of the children that are there to learn. The principal has done everything over the past 3 years to shut the parents out of the school and not allow parents to be part of their childrens education. All statistics show the most important influence in a childs ability to achieve in school is their parents invovement in education, that's why under the no child left behind act Title 1 funding is specifically tied to to the districts ability to outline what type of parent invovement programs they have in place. This elementary school has no parent invovement programs. Lower Pottsrove Elementary is one of the worst academically performing schools in the Tri County area because of the lack of administative leadership at the school

Wow! I am shocked to see that another parent has had some of the same issues with Lower Pottsgrove. I was begining to think that I was the only one dealing with such isssues of appoinment pick up and responsibility for their wrong doing. On a personal level my child was in Title I for math last year and started to do a little better than they took my child out and is back to square one. Why not keep the child in until they are squared away and not just doing a little better? This teaching method is not stable. I practice math with my child every evening and try to make it more interesting with games. However, he still need additional help and this I feel the school should be doing their job. Overall, I am not impressed. There is too much instability of this schools educational support system.

This school has be extremely unprofessional and seems to play the blame game by not taking responsiblity for mistakes and their lack of organization. When I send a note to pick my child up for an appointment they never have my child in the office at that time but 20 minutes later making us late to appointments, not to mention they speak about confidential information of other students in the presence of other parents in the lobby waiting for their children, and do not update their emergency contact records for years. I totally regret having bought a home in Lower Pottsgrove and feel sorry for the children who have to deal with such incompetence at such a crucial part of their younger education years.

I have been impressed with the level of concern and commitment to assist my first grader with her learning challenges from the teacher, to the Instructional Support Teacher, to the Reading Specialist, to the Math Specialist, to the school counselor, to the Principle. The instructional support team have gone above and beyond-I have heard horror stories from other parents at other schools who got no help from the educational system with their struggling student. I have not found that to be true at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary. Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.
