I attended an open house for the school 4 years ago. The tour was great and they said all the right things but that is not what sold me on the school. It was a group of eighth graders who also presented to us at the open house. They had excellent presentation skills and it was so clear how well rounded they were. My daughter is now entering here fourth year and my son his second. It is clear when comparing them to other kids their age how much they are learning at Wyndcroft. We could not be more happy with this school. It is a special community of people who really care about raising well rounded kids that not only will excel academically but these kids are also learning to care about their community.

Great school with engaged parents and teachers. My children have been attending Wyndcroft for several years and we like the school very much. The teachers are attentive to students due to the low teacher:student ratio. My children are known by all and expected to put forth their best effort. Over the next few years the school will be going through tremendous growth from a facilities standpoint. New science laboratories with an area for lecture and another for labs is practically unheard of in an elementary school but will be open in the fall of 2012. Also Early Childhood and Pre-K will be moved to a new building on campus allowing them more room to learn and play. Overall a very exciting time for the school.

My children now go to Wyndcroft and we are extremely pleased with their progress at this school. My children are held to high standards in their academic work and for their actions while on school property. They are at least one grade level ahead of the public schools for math and English material and are very proud of this fact. It's a great school where it's cool to be smart.

We could not be happier with The Wyndcroft School! What a gem. The teachers, administration, students and parents are all great. The school work is not easy and the pace is pretty fast, but if you want to give your child a wonderful education in a very supportive environment, my wife and I highly recommend you consider Wyndcroft

I 'm shocked by the reviews given above! Wyndcroft has been an excellent school for both of my children. I highly recommend the school to anyone looking for quality education in a warm and nurturing environment. I can not say enough good things about the school. I have two very different children and the school has been able to meet the needs of both. The entire school knows my kids well and all teachers have been fantastic! The administration goes above and beyond and handles any issue immediately. There are no discipline problems and all kids are encouraged to learn in a way that isn't high pressure like many other private schools. Academically, the school is a year ahead of my public school (Methacton SD) and offers subjects like French etc... that are lacking in other schools. Visit the school and see for yourself! The school is amazing.

Wyndcroft is priceless for building my children's self-esteem and confidence. We all know you need these 2 qualities to make it in this world.

I am a parent of a child that attends Wyndcroft and I teach in a public school where chldren wear uniforms. I have to disagree with the posting dated June, 2008. The two schools are worlds apart. My child began the Wyndcroft experience at age 3 and is thriving as a first grader, reading chapter books that many of my public school children can't. Why is this? My child is held to high expectations, both academically and socially. The small class size, highly qualified teachers and staff, and the sense of community between the home and school are significant to my child's growth and positive attitude toward school. The children that attend Wyndcroft are exposed to so many different cultures, technological advances, and are offered a variety of experiences that I only wish I could give to the public school children that I teach.

Our son is now in his fourth year at Wyndcroft - starting when he was just three. He is an outgoing, bright and confident first grader - and this is fostered by the nurturing environment provided by the Head of School and the teaching faculty - who are second to none! There is also a great selection of after school activities from instrument instruction to Girl Scouts to drama and karate!

My son is in third grade at Wyndcroft. He started there when he was in Pre-K and he loves it. The teachers are wonderful and nuturing. I am a teacher in a public school and I believe that my district gives a quality education, however it can not compete with the small group instruction that the students at Wyndcroft receive. I can not say enough about Wyndcroft and I have and would recommend it to anyone.

My girls have attended from 1997-2008. This is ou last year as we are moving. I am so proud of the way my girls have grown and I owe a big part of it to the school, the other students there who are good kids, the teachers who know what is going on at all times with their small class sizes, and the other parents who are very involved, and the atmosphere where it is UNcool to get bad grades or to do bad things. The kids love to learn, complain if a class is too easy! or a teacher isn't teaching, they are there to learn and the other kids are like family in this small school. Half the kids there are gifted because of the overall environment.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
