I think the teachers at primos elementary are the best you'll find anywhere but the principal as well as the district seem to be in a panic about the diminishing reputation of the shool district . All of my children have attended primos and 2 are still there. We've been through many principals. the school district has done away with detention so now suspensions happen routinely. Its could be a top notch shool due to the teachers but they need to find a good principal

What an awesome school. The teachers are wonderful as well as all of the administrative staff. They have a wonderful Home & School Association and top notch programs.

Primos was is a great school in a struggling district. As in other reviews, the new principal is awesome. He knows the kids by name and they all love him. The kids could be challenged more i.e. harder homework, better Home Reading Program. Some good staff, some bad staff. The school is making changes and I would expect it to rise on the ratings. It is a school of choice in the UDSD.

Primos Elementary School is one of the best. The Principal is great. The kids and staff are very happy with him. I only wish he came sooner. My son went to school there from 1st - 5th grade. This is his last year and I am sorry to say goodbye. All the teachers are great and they CARE about all the kids. It is really a great school once again.

My Son is in K-Primos ES, he was 2 years in pre-k before and I thought K would be a review (boring) for him but I'm glad I was absolutely wrong, since taking the bus (awesome service)'til comes back he's always happy/singing/enthusiastic. At Primos every day it's a new/learning day with art, music, gim class, library/reading a book time and other activities as a part of a great education. He already can read books alone and write single sentences, his math is ++ too.Young teachers with incredible experience, care & love made possible this.I think Primos ES at Upper Darby School District it's the best !!

All four of our boys love this school. The teachers are phenominal, and all the kids get involved in a wide range of grade appropriate activities. I don't care the the principal very much, but I don't have to deal with her so I guess that's not a big deal. Betsy Waer in the office is the best secretary I've ever had the fortune of meeting!!!

My son transferred to Primos in April 2002 from New Jersey. He is shy, and was very concerned he'd be picked on by the other kids or have no friends at all. My son has thrived at Primos, and has more friends than I can keep track of, and is actually looking forward to school starting! Furthermore, I've had wonderful experiences with the administrative department and teachers when dealing with issues in a timely manner as they arise. Special thanks to Betsy Waer. I would have been lost without her good humor and willingness to help get things situated for my son when we first transferred. I'm thrilled my children will have the opportunity to grow academically as well socially in a school as wonderful as Primos!
