I feel the school does a great job teaching the kids however I beleive they try to cram too much in their heads my daughter is in 2nd grade and does 3 hours of homework a night and they make the kids stand out in the freezing cold. My daughter has already stood outside 15 minutes whilt waiting to be dismissed at 34 degrees outside. This is crazy, that doesn't include the walk home yet. If you compare the learning of these kids to what Wyomissing school kids are learning, 2nd graders are learning what 6th graders at Wyomissing are learning. so they must be doing something right as far as education is going. As far as the dress code goes it is worn out at this point, buying kids clothes for school, good clothes for home and play clothes.
