This school is great for making friends and after school activities as it has many that everyone enjoys....But... The staff at conrad weiser is i have to say...horrible. The staff is rude to many of the students, and to even me and the parents, they never seem to be in a good mood and always seem out to get you no mater what. My son got in trouble for spilling milk....detention :( The teachers are also very poor at what they do. some of them i must say are good and teach well but most of them will bring out the worst of you. but worst of all, was the assistant principal, (of 2008) was not understanding, not very nice frankly, and was extremely one sided and didn't want to hear another side of the story. i did not enjoy this school. so i rate 1 star...sorry

I love my school! The clubs and programs that you can choose to do have such a wide variety. I am in the gifted program, and I feel it challenges me. While some teachers may not be the greatest, most are outstanding and will help everyone acheive their best. They do their best, the student does the rest. The cafeteria food is pretty good, too (especially the pot pie)! As far as I'm concerned, there's not too much violence, and if there is, it's taken care of ASAP. Great music programs, too. There's band, chorus, show choir/select chorus, musicals and more! We also have a Renaissance Program where (depending on your grades) you get a gold, blue, or white card. This offers discounts at numerous stores and a discounted price at home sporting events. If you are looking to move to Weiser area, don't think twice!

We just moved here from out of state and Im not too thrilled. I agree that the teachers and the school seem to do the absolute minimum. My children are bored and are not being challenged. The sports and extra curricular activities are great, but it ends there. My children are very smart. They maintain an A average. I am disappointed that students are not recognized for their academic achievements. I feel the school does not provide an education that is challenging enough, nor does it do enough to promote outstanding students for their accomplishments.

I feel the negatives far out weigh the positives at this school. Teachers seem content to do the absolute minimum.

I think the children'S PSSA scores would be higher if extra curricular activities such as sports were suspended until tests were given. With sports five nights a week and the pressure of PSSA the children are not at their peak. The school is very good overall, and my children enjoy their time there.

With all the new children moving into the area, the school has upgraded its facilities to handle the new and current children. I am very pleased with the school. The teachers care and the no tollerance policy for disciplinary problems are wonderful. The extra activities for the children are awesome but the kids do not lose sight of their school work. I think it's a great school, keep up the good work.
