Beyond the friendly, safe neighborhood atmosphere the school is situated, St. John's is a community of caring teachers and staff who know children and parents by name and are never too busy to take an interest in what's going on with kids. Given constrained resources, the teachers are creative in making opportunities for fun and spirit.

St. John of the Cross is genuinely interested in not just the academics, but also in the making of the entire person. It emphasizes God and family. We are very proud to have our children attend SJC.

SJC is a wonderful school and I would not send my children any where else. The staff is kind, caring, and very accessable when needed. It is a safe environment for learning. We have a great new improved computer lab, and there is a real sense of community within the church and school.

The quality of education is evident in my child's academic progress. The staff is kind and friendly. I am proud of the moral values that they teach and instill into our children. Our children are creating a solid platform helping them to shape their lives so that they can become most successful in their future.

Great School! Small and personal. Great Catholic teachings. Wonderful, dedicated teachers who really care about & look out for the students. Older kids are paired up with younger kids on a 'buddy' system. 3 of my kids have graduated & 3 are still there. Very proud of SJC!!!

St. John's is the best school for making your kids feel like they belong to a community. We all work together to make St. John's and Roslyn a better place to be.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
