I am a student at West, and I can honestly say that there are several excellent teachers. Unfortunately they are the minority and there are many teachers at West that can barely interpret the material they teach.
Great school spirit. The interactions among the parents and the staff
This school might be a lot better if it were a little bigger. More educational diversity could then be offered. Sure we live in an economically depressed area but we could do more for our schools.
This school has a very good academic selection for its students and I feel my child did very well in attending this school.
I went to high school here and and currently earning my M.Ed. in curriculum and Instruction in ordr to become a teacher. It was the teachers at West Scranton High School that prepared me for my undergraduate and graduate education, and inspired me to pass on my love of learning to others.
