My child has been at this school for 4 years - This year with the newest principal - She is excellent - really takes safety seriously! A+++ The old principal was a fine man as well - the kids read and were excited about it. This year while it's not the same excitement within the school - everything is great with this school. Teachers have all been wonderful - can't complain about a single one. This year I even saw a teacher walking the walkers down to crossing guard when the scare was around in the fall. The teachers really go out of their way and care. :) Communication from principal during that time was amazing. Office staff - eh - personable yet you get the feeling they don't really love their job. They could work on that! Communication with teachers has been superb throughout the years - very easy to get a hold of and you receive responses back quickly. Any other issues I have primarily deal with new laws - protocols - not the school itself or staff.

Pennridge School District only helps the drones...the kids who do not need a little extra help. For those of us who have kidsthat need extra helpwe can forget it...their answer is to push threw and not help!

The faculty at this school takes a genuine interest in every child and when a child is having trouble learning does everything in their power to help the child succeed. The entire staff works as a team and makes every child feel special. You can't ask for more than that from a school.

I was a student at westrockhill elementary school from kindergarten to sixth grade. This review is supposed to be from a parent, but who knows a school better then a student that went there and excelled in the schools fun and friendly atmosphere. The teachers make learning fun which obviously lets the students learn with ease and joy. I loved all my teachers through the years escpecially the 5th and 6th grade teachers. Overal the school is fun and the testscores are mostly all above average so there's nothing to lose and everything to gain.

West Rockhill has been a great experience for my children. The teachers are caring and dedicated to helping our children. There are many opportunities for parental involvment and a genuine care and concern are shown to each individual child. I am very pleased with their Gifted Support program which not only cahllenges my children but expounds upon what is being taught in their individual classrooms.
