I am a graduate of Apollo-Ridge High School and I can tell you first hand that it provides an exceptional education. As with all educational institutions, the student has to be the one to make the most of the opportunities that are presented. Students can't be MADE to learn, and I think much of the responsibility should land on the shoulders of the parents - how are you helping your child make the most of their education? When I graduated, I wasn't so sure about the school - that is until I went through 4 years of schooling, in the toughest major at my University. Throughout that 4 years, I was constantly amazed at the amount of material that I had been exposed to and already learned - in comparison to other students in my classes. Despite what the student below says, the help is there - take advantage of it!

This school need to interact more with the students and actually teach them the way the need to be tought. I know that the teacher cannot take the one on one time with each student but the least they can do is give the student the help they need to pass the classes the first time.

Most teachers seem to offer great feedback. Extra curricular activities are minimal in her grade level...I am hoping to see more offered next yr.
