The communication between the school and home is excellent. The teachers know the children both on a social and academic level. They really care about our children.
I am sooooo pleased as are my children that we have a new principle. My children are happy and now. they love going to school. It was a problem for the last 5 years. I am estastic that Ms. Fitz took over as the principle. She is THE BEST AND LOVES CHILDREN!!!!!!! God must have heard everyone prayers! AMEN
A Great school, it accepeted me fresh from Italy. Up the sixth grade with Sister Cathleen Mary and Sister Patrice as Principal. father Meyer was the Parish Priest. I learned the English language in no time and followed me closely till graduation in 1958. Thank you John Vecellio
It's a great school with excellent teachers & staff that provide a superior education along with Christian values.
All 3 of my children went to this school. They had excellent academics & were involved with the children (cared how they fared in school). They were nominated for the Blue Ribbon School Program when my children attended there.
I love this school and I think the new principal is wonderful she is doing so much for the school with the upgrade of technology and new science lab that will be used for the upper grades she knows what she is doing and as a parent I could not be anymore happier
My daughter recently graduated from Holy Cross, and I have nothing to say but kind words about this fantastic learning institution. The kindergarten teachers are awesome...so willing to help, great with the kids and the parents. My daughter has learned far more than I ever expected. I am so glad that my husband and I decided to send our daughter to Holy Cross. We couldn't have made a better choice!
My child has been in Holy Cross school for many years and I'm sorry to report that since the new principal has come I have been very unhappy with the school. It seems like the school has turned into a business I understand you need money to run but every day you are asking for more money. I also feel as though the new principal handles discipline problems very inappropriately. It's sad that it has come to this if I had another option my child would not be there.
I go to this school and honestly, I am going to be very sad when I leave. My classmates are always nice and the teachers are great! My favorite part of the school year is the school show. Our music teacher always does a wonderful job putting it together.
This school is a wonderful education institution. The teachers have always been adaptable to children with special needs - if tutoring is needed - it is always made available. Honestly, the Language Arts curriculum far surpasses that of the Springfield School District. The Math curriculum needs to be adjusted to come up to par with the public school system. However, if Our Lord is your everyday - This is one wonderful school!
