I really don't like this school, I love being social and i can't at this school. Also the school can't afford simple field trips or anything. Spening the their money on Smartboard and a new sidewalk. I am considering East Stroudsburg for my child. ALSO THE PRINCIPAL IS NOT INVOLVE WITH ANYTHING!

I'm currently a student here, and am looking to move out of the district. the community is unaccepting and cold, and I feel as if i am known for not who I am now, but who i was in first grade. The school is small, so you really feel like you're under a microscope. The teachers are okay, but the curriculum is too easy.

The school has offered many wonderful activities for the students. This school has made a great impact on how they are treated, which is very nice, and their PSSA scores has increased over the years.

They let children down. Their way of dealing with disipline is through them out, or shove them under the rug. In school suspension or out of school suspension as a reward for the student. One time you make a mistake, your out. Yet so many other children get away with worse. Don't we pay enough in tax money to get a decent education for our children?

I go to stroudsburg junior highschool and I would like to say that the school is great with great sports programs and students get a lot of freedom. The only bad thing is that there isn't a lot of budget for the sports programs and various activities

Stroudsburg Jr. High does a good job in the academic programs. They provide us (the students) with various options as to what we want to take. Some of the academics could be more challenging (such as math) but overall they are pretty good. We do have a wide variety of music, art, and sports, but sports are more available at SJH than anything else. The level of parental involvement in our school is somewhat standoffish, there aren't that many parents involved in our school right now. Overall the SJH is a very good school.

The student/teacher ratio shown for this school is grossly misleading-there is no way it's that low; just look in any room. The behavior of the lunchroom staff is unprofessional. The behavior of the office staff is equally as unprofessional and rude, to both parents and students alike.

I believe that this school is academically enriching and has much to offer when talking about activities. The pricipals work very hard to teach the students right from wrong. There are many classes to choose from in each field of learning. Parents are usually highly involved with extracurricular activities. The teachers are not demanding but are open to all students who are willing to learn. If the student is not cooperating, of course there will be punishment. There is punishment everywhere. The parents, teachers, and other staff are caring towards the students who attend this school and do not judge them. If all the schools I have attended were this amazing, we'd have an amazing amount of high school graduates. People should not judge the staff at this school because they don't know how hard the staff works to make this school the best it can be.
