The school rocks. It has a good education. and the students are nice to each other. and there is no child left behind. so if one person is not doing good they all help.

SCSD is, by far, one of the best schools in NEPA. The faculty is superior and the classroom sizes add to their success. This small town, close-knit community takes pride in their students and it shows.

Susquehanna is an excellent school, and your children will get out of it what they put into it. We have had only excellent teachers for both of our sons, but homework begins in first grade, usually 4 evenings/week, and if you keep on top of your child's education, make sure they do their homework, and ask the teacher to inform you of any issues so you can stay on top of them. The school definitely provides a great base, I am a little disappointed in the lack of elementary sports programs, but am pleased that they have added basketball beginning in first grade, and would hope that more activities could be added in the future.
