There's not a better school around!! Mid-Valley is such a wonderful place for every child to learn to the best of their abilities!
Mvsd has been excellent for my 2 grand kids they are still the same courteaous caring kids and eager to do good. The teachers are great the classes are just perfect and not overcrowded and there is no bulling allowed. Lots of help for all kids. My grandkids on days of my work were bussed to the community center and had help to do homework first then play and a drink and snack we were so grateful and they were supervised and safe. My family got their own place now but i give this school a thumbs up for sure and they have wonderful school spirit. Ann
I feel that our school is going above and beyond with our students. All of the teachers and administration care about our kids and about their futures
I personally think that Mid Valley Elem. needs to focus alittle more on bulling. There are so many kids bullied and no one does anything. My son has been bullied by the same boy all year and nothing has been done. Other then that i think the school is alright!
This school has a lot to offer all its students, regardless of ability. I have two children enrolled and have nothing but good things to say. The quality of the teachers is superb! I do not say this lightly. You, as a parent can be as involved as you wish to be. The PTA is excellent! Many programs are offered to the children, from music to sports. The library is up to date, the AR program is great. We love it here!
Mid-Valley Elementary is a wonderful school. After starting my daughter's education at a private, Catholic school, I was thrilled to see the type of program the elementary center provided. The teachers are very caring and the principal and vice-principal are always visible and aware of what is going on throughout the school. The only area I would like to see improvement in is the Computer lab. There is a fabulous computer lab for all of the children. However, I feel it takes the back burner to other subjects because the teachers may not have enough time to fit it in. I would also like to see the same type of learning carried through to the high school. It seems that the children are getting a wonderful base in the elementary center but the assessment scores seem to drop down quite drastically when they reach high school. This needs to be addressed.
I think mid valley is a great school ! The teachers are great especially the teacher my child had last year for kindergarten. The one thing I think the school should start allowing is a meet and great the teacher. Parents should be allowed to meet the teacher and help their child find their class rooms before scool starts to get them familiar with where their classrooms are. This way they are ready for the first day of school. Other than that mid valley is a great school and from what I here , the music program is the best .
Mid-Valley Elementary is an exceptional learning center run by exceptional personnel. The focus is on learning, fairness and development of interpersonal skills. Review the PSAT's and you'll see the facts to support this. Highest school marks in 5 county area. A wonderful group of folks with the correct vision and focus.
