I give this school five stars because of the FANTASTIC staff and leadership. These folks go above and beyond when it comes to the kids, staying late, coming in on weekends and even making themselves available in the summer to help students with homework and tutoring and their dedication shows. My children went from proficient at their former school district to advanced in all subject on the PSSA's. The school itself has made AYP the past 5 years. They continue to grow their programs including all day K4 and K5 and this year expanded the Spanish program to include elementary. I LOVE the expeditionary projects and the kids LOVE the myriad of field trips that are made available to them. I highly recommend this school to any parent who wants a school where the student comes first.

we were in the forest area district, and my child had 10 study halls a week the first semester of the year. in this school in the next semester, my child had less than a period a week of study hall. we love the extra emphasis on the arts, especially the fantastic music program. and my my child is still able to play sports. my child likes the teachers alot more than the public school, and still gets all the same educational oppurtunities. this school has to meet state standards the same as the pulic school. it's so nice to have this choice of an all around better school.

I believe we have some great teachers in this school, however, I feel the principal and other staff members are too leniant on the misbehavior of some students. I also believe that there are cases of discrimination going on with the staff and students. favortism of some students because of who they are or are not!

This is a great school with a lot of hands on learning. The teachers and staff are excellent with the kids and make the learning environment much richer than public schools. Because of the small class size each student receives the attention they deserve to help them become successful and productive adults. The teachers really care about the students, thats not something you find in larger schools. TCCS is a rare gem !
