White Clay Learning Center is run by an excellent staff of dedicated teachers who go way above and beyond for their parents and their students. Their individualized instruction has been life changing for our children and their comprehensive evaluations offer us a clear picture of our kids' development. Their cozy and inviting building is just what we want in education. We are so happy to have found it!

The best investment we could have made for our child. We considered larger more expensive schools however the bottom line was that the individualized attention that our daughter is receiving would not be be of the same magnitude at a larger school. Thanks to White Clay and their magnificent staff our daughter wants to learn and is preparing years in advance for her career.

White Clay has been a Godsend to our family. I have an underachieving 9th grader who is getting A's and B's and most importantly loves learning and is proud of her accomplishments for the first time in her life! Andrea, the headmaster has gone above and beyond to accomodate each of my children's learning abilities. She is extremely enthusiastic, communicative and takes a wholistic approach to education. We are serioulsy considering White Clay for our soon to be Kindegartener. I was very impressed with the fact that they use the Chicago system for teaching kids Math. This is the 2nd largest and most popular system nationally used and also used by the much larger, more expensive private schools. I would highly recommend White Clay for all grades..what a wonderful, nuturing little school at an affordable price.

I cannot say enough about this school. It has changed the whole learning experience for my child. Each child belongs to the classroom discussion, but also have their own curriculum to support their needs. It is the best of home school and traditional school wrapped up into one! I would recommend to anyone who cares about their child's education and feels the public system isn't the answer!

Excellent individualized program that educated my three children through 8th grade. The two oldest are now thriving in high school thanks to White Clay's creative and meaningful curriculum that inspired my children to love learning and succeed. Would recommend for anyone who is in search of an alternative environment for their child.

Terrible school. Says it is hands on but uses worksheets a lot more than a public school would allow. Very low academically and managed with cost in mind. School is taking advantage of parents who think the school will address students' individual needs. The school experence academically, socially and emotionally is not work an 1/8 of its tuition.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
