Roslund Elementary School

I feel children are getting a quality education at Rolsund. The principal and teachers work together to update curriculum each year with dedication to their academic program for the betterment of all the students. I find the atmosphere of the school to be welcoming to parents and nurturing to students. There are the extras that make a school year full, reading programs, science fair, student musical plays, and end of the year filed trips.

I was very disappointed with this school. My children spent the last year at Roslund coming from a much larger school and I had previously thought it was a good school. The teachers and administration were very difficult when not impossible to work with. For children who have special needs, your just out of luck. I have moved out of the district so that each of my children have an opportunity of education.

What I really love about Roslund is the quality of the Music class and other 'specials' that are so important for a well-rounded education. These teachers demonstrate such dedication to their students. The academic program is also very good, with teachers who have a lot of creative ways to get kids learning.It would be ideal to get a principal who wants to stick around for a while to provide overall stability and cohesion.

The teacher and staff are wonderful, very caring with our children with disabilities. My child has ADD and ADHD and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and when she is having a bad day they are very understanding and try to help her. I am glad my child goes to Rusland.
