Hutchinson is a great school. Hutchinson is one of the most beautiful buildings in Fayette County. Not only is it a lovely place, but the staff there is fantastic. They have high enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. It's refreshing to see everything come together at Hutchinson in all aspects. Keep up the great work!
Both of my chiildren have attended Hutchinson Elementary School. This school goes down hill every year. From the principal down to the kitchen staff. Any school district that would give kids a bag of chips and a cup of nacho cheese and call it lunch has a problem. There is very little parent help in this school and the PTO has disolved itself because of the principal and his awful outlook. There is no art, music or fun in this school because the test results are so bad everthing has been taken away from the kids and they are required to study all the time for these PSSA test. Which we did bad on this year again. Think twice before enrolling your child in the Laurel Highlands school district. I can say the teachers really try hard to help the kids, but they don't have much to work with at LH
