Fairview Avenue Elementary School

My son is a first grader at Fairview in Mrs. Delaneys class. My husband and I are very pleased with the school and the teachers. Everyone is so nice, and very welcoming whenever we go to the school. Our son has ADHD and Mrs. D has been a great help to him, he is reading way above his grade level! I love the pillars of character and the emphasis on reading! I know most of the children in my sons class on a first name basis and we are always welcome in his classroom. I am happy to have my son go to school here and i would be hard pressed to find another school that meets fairviews standards. Fairview falcons really do SOAR!!!

the teachers really care about the students. they have a lot of after school activities. And they encourage the parents to be active in the school. many programs for the kids.

This The leadership of this school needs to be changed to make it better for the Children that attent there .The Leadership is poor left to others to do .Kids don't get disciplined and parents not notified when something happens with their child .

My daughter is in k and loves mrs cales. The school is very well organized and the kids are very disciplined! well done to the staff!

My daughter, who is in 4th grade is also doing very well with her reading and I find the homework assignments very helpful in this subject. Reading seems to be a forte at Fairview.

We've been very pleased with our son's experience with Fairview Ave Elementary after his first year as a kindergartener. The teachers seem to work hard to get and keep parents involved in the education of their children. The reading emphasis is excellent. Our son is reading at a level that surprises and pleases us very much.
