My daughter is extremely inteligent but was falling behind in public school. During her first interview and assessment at WCFS, they noticed what might be a tracking disorder. Taylor, my 9 year old, was referred to a specialist. Sure enough, Taylor has a severe Tracking disorder. She is recieving therapy and is doing tremendously well in school - math and reading have improved greatly. Additionally, the mission statement of WCFS supports non-violent conflict resolution, community awareness and volunteerism in students, art is infused in all subjects, and the children of all grades work together during some subjects. Kids from these types of schools will create a brighter tomorrow!

West Chester Friends School is a wonderful school with an enriching environment for elementary students. The classes are small, the curriculum is challenging, the teachers are extremely dedicated, the cultural arts are enriching and the children learn the value of being a part of the greater community through participation. Our oldest child was well prepared to take on the social and academic challenges at a competitive independant secondary school because of the foundation he received here. Our second child is a current student and is eager for school and to learn each day. We highly recommend West Chester Friends School.

My son is in Fourth Grade at this wonderful school. He has a wonderful teacher and there are only 11 children in his class. The school has exciting events such as the Mold Symposium and the Science Fair. Each year, the school concentrates on an 'All School Unit'. One year the children studied Ireland. Another year, they studied everything having to do with the 'underground'. It is a magical place with fantastic teachers!
