Fantastic! This school has great teachers and administrators, but also an involved community of parents. Academic program is challenging, but appropriate, and kids have great exposure with art, music, PE. Having moved to this area from another district, its nice to see how beneficial a good school can be.

We moved into this school last year. From where we came from this school is above and beyond what we have experienced. My oldest daughter has an IEP, and this school has been nothing but great to work with concerning her and the support she needs in order to succeed. We are very happy here.

I had great expectations with the school principle's leadership and dedication in the education of young children - including my two daughters. Instead I am disappointed. There is little doubt that most teachers are very professional and dedicated at this school. However, as we all are human beings, sometimes there can be a mistake made. The official needs to face the issue rather than refuse to admit it. Your No.1 priority is to educate the young generations - not to protect your own job security.

Two of my four children have attended this school so far, and we have nothing but good things to say. One son is very advanced for his age, and the teachers have gone above and beyond to adjust the curriculum for his needs. They gave us a lot of choices and worked with us to find what was best fit for our child. Talking with parents of children in other states, this school seems to be outstanding in comparison. They expect a lot, but it is good preparation for what is to come. High standards are definitely a positive. We plan to stay in this area specifically for the school district.

I disagree that this school is out of hand in regards to PSSA's. As a teacher in another district and a parent of two children that attended Marshall, they are as concerned about testing as all of the schools/districts in this area and beyond. This is an exceptional school with an education that you can't find in most other schools. Discipline is outstanding as are the administration and teachers. Everyone works to help all of the children succeed and feel successful at Marshall. Parent involvement is encouraged and amazing.

This school is a little bit out of hand. Very much pressure on the PSSA's. Pushing kids a great deal with much homework even in the 2nd grade and up. A good deal of positives but it goes a little over the top in terms of how the push the kids.

Two of my kids have already gone through and a third is now a student. Teachers and staff have been committed, caring, and involved with the kids.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. We have had three children attend this school throughout the last decade -- and we've moved out of state three times, but always come back to this district and this school in particular. All of the teachers were top notch, the principals and vice principal have been great, and there is a high level of parental involvement. I have a special needs son who is fully included except for one pull-out for communication arts -- and that special needs teacher cannot be beat! She is incredible! The other children are kind to my son, and include him. Possibly the only negative to the school is its size -- it's a rather large elementary school -- but, having said that, it's a wonderful school, and always has been.
