I explored options at this school and the curriculum was grade A. I was impressed with the spanish language courses offered 4th-8th grade along with the many other activities after to school for development of character and self-esteem... 'st al's' has recently took on students from the closing of st boniface, wilkes-barre, and pope john paul, nanticoke... the upper levels have smart board technology in the class rooms... but the amt ofthe schoool has fewer students then other schools in wilkes-barre area and makes is easy to get involoved and less confusion (more order)... myu draw back is with the easy going, almost no disipline taught to those children who may need it (such as my own)...

There are several reasons to visit the best kept secert in Luzerne county. We have a young principal who is on top of every issue before it becomes a concern. He is excessable, to every parent or child. Even more amazing he knows every child he has in the school and in most cases knows their siblings. The teachers care, they teach at high standards and bring up the lower level. They achive this through extra help and assistance. This is truly no student left behind. Each child is made to feel special. The students are just as special, the eighth graders know the preshool students. The students respect everyone. The msgr. Is aware of everything that goes on in the shcool and puts the childs concerns first. This is truly a special family, and you are aware of this from the time you enter the building.

There is one major quality that I want to make known about Sacred Heart. I feel that no student falls through the cracks. The faculty stays on top of these children. Everyone knows each other and you always feel that you are aware of what is going on. The faculty are informative to parents and encourage involvement.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
