Woodlyn Elementary School

I chose this school over Lakeview (where my kids are supposed to go). My kids are very happy there and get the extra help that they need. The teachers are also great and have great communication with the parents. Things have changed a little with the new principle (not as happy with her then I was with Mr Staples, for she is not as personable, but she gets the job done). I have 3 in Woodlyn now and 1 more to go in about 4yrs!

this is the best school my daughter could go to. the teachers are wonderful and mr. staples is a great guy to. i would rate this school 1000 if it went that high.

Woodlyn is the best elementary school in the district!! I toured all of them, hands down Woodlyn has the best programs, and not only teaches children what they need to know to excell at school but in life as well. I am proud to say that I am a woodlyn parent

This was our first year at Woodlyn elementary, and I am very impressed with their educational values and life skills program. The principal is very caring and professional. He took the time to provide a us with a tour of the school prior to the start of the school year so that my third grader and kindergartner would be comfortable with their new school. The school invites family members to become involved in the students educational lives by hosting an open house for a couple of hours on the first Friday of each month.
