Overall a decent school, disciplinary actions are sometimes too extreme and sometimes the teachers act too much like students.
My son is getting a fairly good education. I wish less emphasis was put on sports and more on activities such as chess, science fair and music and art programs. I see articles in the newspaper about other schools in our area excelling in these activities and I wonder why none of these are available in our school. I've moved around a lot and this is the first school district I've seen that didn't have a science fair.
I have put 2 children through this high school, and one to go. Overall, not a bad school, just need teachers that aren't there just for the paycheck and gossip, but are there to teach our kids. My kids are/were all honor students, one graduated as a member of national honor society.
It's a good school, and my daughters enjoy going there.
