Hayshire Elementary School

I have had three kids at Hayshire....best school at Central York School District. (and they are all good). Teachers and principals are very involved and loving to the kids. The kids are well behaved and the atmosphere is one of happy kids everytime I go in. I am always welcome as a mother. I would give more stars if I could!

Hayshire has the best group of teachers and assistants! Everyone cares about the kids.

My son just finished Kindergarten at Hayshire and had a wonderful year. The administration is actively involved in day-to-day school life and plan great activities. The teachers are responsive and provide the right level of challenge. We are thrilled with this school.

We have a son who attended Hayshire several years ago and one still there. What a fantastic school! The teachers and staff are wonderful, as is the leadership. The academics are strong and opportunities are provided for students who need extra help as well as those who excel. Very comfortable, welcoming environment for parents and kids. We loved all the family activities the school held for the kids. Parents are very involved in the classrooms as well as at parties and on field trips. We are moving to another state and the schools there will certainly have a tough act to follow. We will miss this school.

I have a son who attends Hayshire elementary, he has been a struggling learner. His teacher has been so great with him. She has gone out of her way to make his learning experience a happier one. He used to hate to go to his previous school but once he started at Hayshire, he couldn't wait to get to school. Now that school is out he has been depressed and he misses his teacher and all his friends.

I absoultely love having my grandchildren at this school. This school has grown so much within the last few years. I am proud to say my grandchildren are a part of this school's growth and progress.

Excellent school, with top-notch teachers who really care about the children they are educating! My husband and I are not from here and were a little reluctant to send our children to a public school. Our opinions changed when we entered the school. It is a beautiful facility with a great library and media center.
