My son started at Logos at grade 5 and continued through 8th. When starting the public high school, he is one to 2 years ahead of his peers. They also helped him establish his self esteem that he lacked. The drawback is that there are not any sports or instruments but the payoff academically is worth it.
A classical curriculum (aka exceptional instruction on a high level), dedicated and 'happy' staff. Logos academy is blessed with a loving and caring principal and an informed, active, and hands on school board. Logos academy is a culturally diverse school that fosters the idea of self-respect and the respect of others. Parent involvement is mandatory. This school is the 'secret' gem of york city! sound too good to be true? It's true! call or better yet go to logos academy and see for yourself! my son is half way through kindergarden and can read and do math on a 'public school' 1st grade level!
