My son will be 5 in August and eligible to enter into Kindergarden. He cant seem to sit still in circle time at pre school and has problems making friends, but he is acedemically on target. Should I put him in Kindergrden this year or wait until he's 6 yrs old?

You're not the first person facing this sort of dilemma, and I'm sure you won't be the last. With an August birthday, part of his difficulties could be immaturity, but it's also possible that other issues are involved. You might ask his current preschool teacher what she'd recommend, and read this past discussion for another insight: http://community.greatschools.net/q-and-a/201905/How-do-I-choose-the-right-grammer-school-for-my-six-year-old-son-who-has-alot-of-energy-and-his-own-ideas?cpage=1#comment_241786

Also keep in mind that a lot can happen in your child's maturation by next September! 6 months can still make a huge difference at these tender ages.
