What do you do when your child is reluctant to potty train?

A schedule will help. Just say "ok its potty time." A schedule is one of the main reason kids seem to magically toilet train when they go to nursery school.

Never take it too seriously. Using the toilet will happen when their ready, (their not going to college in diapers)! To help things along just keep the topic in conversations that your little one will overhear. It's all new to them so stay silly!

My daughter trained for about a year before she got the hang of it. Stay committed! Getting stickers and big girl underpants were great rewards for her~

Take a deep breath. Remember potty training does not happen over night for our kids. Try just a routine of offering to sit on the potty and count to 20 or sing a few rounds of Happy Birthday. This will atleast get your child to sit on the potty.
