No... thank goodness. Not everything in life is a lesson. Relaxation is an art that should be practiced more. Sometimes its ok to just "play".

I doubt EVERY toy teaches something but toys arise imagination. A young mind is like a sponge and imagination are the wonderful suds we use to wash the dishes of life!

I don't know if 'teach' is the right word...some toys let us use our imagination, while others get us to use our motor skills or coordination. So I think the toys we give our little ones help them to develop stages in their lives

It isn't the toy that teaches to begin with, it is stimulation and interactions that does.
