The fourth grade teachers are very good and work super well together as a team. They are kind, expect a high level of performance and are good at their jobs.

Again, the issue is that the school is unable to work with ALL types of students with varying skills and abilities. They expect a certain type of student and if you aren't that type, you fall into the cracks.

Very limited amount of homework that is sometimes not super helpful, but more rote types of work.

This is kid-to-kid, so it is hard to assess whether it's home or school that helps this.

There has been yelling in the school that is allowed, as it has gone on for many, many years (by some not all teachers).

There's bullying that is ignored but some of the kids see peers in major trouble and suspended (with no support).

The school cannot work with students who are not "typical learners". They suspend kids with behavioral issues rather than help them.

This is a very weak school that still has - 1. teachers who yell 2.problems teaching all types of students 3. excessive suspensions for young kids 4. very weak ability to teach math

It's a great school with awesome teachers and a fantastic caring principal named Mr. Blackman.

ES Rhodes is the best school bar none! The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond for the students. The principal and secretary are warm and welcoming. Parent involvement is very high. It's a safe environment that provokes a positive learning experience.
