Our goal, then, is to instruct in ways that challenge and improve student thinking as a way to increase a child's capacity to make connections between their prior knowledge, experiences, and new information. Bailey also upholds a strong commitment to creating a learning environment that is safe and orderly-a community that supports and nurtures the whole child.
