The staff and administration really care for the children and want them to succeed.
I am impressed with the principal, she goes the extra yard to make sure every student is recognized in all areas and makes sure they get the most out of their school experience. It is a very safe school and has excellent teachers.
Although the teachers seem to work hard I feel the programs in this school need improvement. There are allot of low income families in the district that need help. The education is slipping because of the resources and availibility, not to mention the lower expectations of the parents and system that reflects not only in the atmosphere in the school, but in the testing of the students. Not enough is being one to boost the confidence level of each child much less help to stimulate their potential. West Warwick needs to step it up a bit in tese areas and the faculty needs to push harder with the administration at the state level as well with the parents backing them!PTA has a strong voice so lets move it!
