Canyon Intermediate is for 5th and 6th graders and is in the first year of grouping this age group together. They offer a fine arts class that allows each student to experience a great deal of art and music. The academics are grouped in three sections each taught by a key teacher. Sports are taught in PE but team sports are city league activities. The teachers are usually very experienced and knowledgable. Administration is organized. Parents are eager to be involved and the PTA is very active. The whole district has high expectations for students and parents also work to provide the very best for their children and the campus.

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
