As a teacher at Van Dyke Day School, I can confidently state that the teachers and staff do care about the children we serve. It is a wonderful place to work!

My daughter has attended this school for 2 years. I loved the caring her 3 year old teacher gave her and the bible based background was icing on the cake. My daughter has learned a lot more than just her ABC's. The office staff are always helpful. It it clean and feel confident in the staff overall. The reason they didn't get 5 stars, was due to the lack of a lunch option for full time students. I would have also liked for dance or gymnastics to be offered for additional fee's.

My child has been attending this school since last year, and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! The teachers are WONDERFUL (caring, engaging, fun) and the Christian curriculum is great. They value 'learning through play' (which should be the case for 3- and 4-year-olds.) Classrooms are bright, centers are full of hands-on materials, and there are words that label various things in the classroom - like 'Sink', 'mirror', etc. (I feel that this makes learning a more natural process, rather than forced upon). A bonus - they offer state-funded VPK program for 4-year-olds! I couldn't be happier! Highly recommended!
