My daughter just came from the Philippines in March. She started school as soon as got here. This school is fantastic. The teachers, the staff. The staff encourages parents to be involved with their child. I go eat with my daughter once a week. My daughters grade are excellent. The teachers send homework home and ask parents to view and sign it and send it back. I never want to change School Districts. My daughter loves to learn and she has fun doing it. I take my Hat off to Mr. Shaw, & Mrs. Morris and to then entire staff of Ector ISD. My daughter will be in 3rd grade next year. She is planning on reading one book a day for the summer. That is motivation. Thank you Ector ISD for the education of my daughter.

This is a wonderful school that has the best teachers of any school in the country. The campus just recieved the highest rating any school in the state of Texas can receive for its academic success.

My child transferred in from a larger school. From the principal who visits the classrooms daily to the friendly loving secretary to great teachers that actually teach and do such an excellent job, my son is thrilled to go to school and I no longer have to drag him out of bed for school. The guidance counselor there teaches prevention things like getting along, conflict management etc before a problem starts. Its the best elementary school I have ever been in... and this is my eighth child... and 57 foster kids. Children seem more mannerly there too. Teachers and principal set expectations... mutual respect is there between students and faculty. Small schools are hard to find... great ones even harder... glad we found Ector Elementary!

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
