I have worked at Lake Forrest Prep for over a year now as a substitute teacher. It is, by far, the best school I have ever subbed at -- private or public. The staff is amazing. They are all understanding, support, open, dedicated, and willing to help out no matter the reason. The teachers care about their students and are willing to go that extra mile to help them.
I researched many private schools in an effort to find a school that would allow my son to work ahead of his grade level and none but Lake Forrest were open to this. He is now in the third grade but takes his math and reading classes with the fifth grade so that he is working at a level that is comfortable for him. He is not being stifled like he was in public school. I highly recommend this school.
Lake Forrest Prep is an amazing environment where both of my children blossom continually. My older daughter is in 1st grade and continues to astound me with her growth in reading, math, and social sciences. Additionally, she has learned most parts of speech with a fantastic program the school uses called Shurley Grammar. All of this and she is in 1st grade, remarkable!. My youngest daughter just turned three. She simply radiates from the love and guidance she receives daily. She has learned how to communicate, use the potty like a big girl, and can even tell you all colors in Spanish. I have been a parent at the school for 6 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to express about the staff, teachers, Principal, and academics. If you want a safe and nurtuing environment for your child to grow academically and socially, LFPS is your place!
