Belvedere Elementary School

All of my children have attended Belvedere, from PK to sixth. The staff was outstanding even during the transition of administrators, they've shown great care, concern for each student. The staff have been very helpful and personable, with a welcoming smile mixed with humor. The staff wasn't shy about giving out hugs to students or parents and the students weren't shy about giving them out. I've always felt welcome even when there were irate and very rude parents present, the office staff handled it with calm and grace. In the words of Mrs. Carol Ellis, it takes a village to raise a child. Thank you Belvedere staff members (past and present)for being that village!

Belvedere gets high points for the attentiveness of the staff. Discipline and academics remain a challenge for the school as a whole, but the staff tirelessly searches for ways to motive and encourage the kids to do their best. That deserves special commendation.
