I have had my twins in Fairmont for the last three years, when they interact with children their own age who are not Fairmont students it is very evident that my kids are far advanced. Mr. Drake is fantastic and so is Ms. Atherton. Most of the teachers are incredible but like anywhere else some are better than others. My one complaint is the school will not allow parent input as to which teacher a student receives for the year. I feel the school is offering an excellent education. Keep up the good work!
My daughter graduated and went onto a very good public school. She is now at the top of all her classes and has such a different approach to learning and to school than the other kids in her class. It's wonderful to see the 'payoff' of private school so early in her life.
My daughter entered the school, having earned top grades at the best public school in So Cal yet the gap in her subject knowledge was shocking compared to her fellow students aat Fairmont AH. Another difference was the peer support, which was completely missing in public school. The Principal is one in a million. He creates a special handshake that is shared by himself and each Jr High Student. He brings out the best in every kid at the school and his commitment to each student is unequalled. What is the upshot of my $15,000 annual investment in getting my kid a better education? She now ranks in the 96th percentile of all students in the nation and she is better prepared for the brilliant, new opportunities that lie ahead due to her Fairmont Anaheim Hills years. A private Jr high education at a quality school is invaluable for kids.
As a Grandparent of 6 students attending Fairmont and a professional Educator for over 30 years I have visited 100's of school in OC, Calif. and the nation. I have found Fairmont Private School to be the most impressive school I have ever visited. There dedication to exceptional quality in education and hiring only exceptional Teachers is unsurpassed in this country.
