Both of my grandchildren go or have gone to this school. It is one of the best schools I've ever seen. One grandchild is autistic and the wonderful teachers have done wonders to a child that easily could have been left behind. I can't say too many good things about this school.

It is a blessing to have a school such as Liberty Elementary in our community. Mr.Wilson and the rest of the school staff are by far the best I have ever seen. They strive to give the very best of their abilities to the students and are always encouraging parents to be involved in their child's education while providing plenty of opportunities to do so. (Family Reading Night--School Library is open to students and their families to read together and take accelerated reader tests.) (Family Movie Night-Students and their family is invited to pile up in the gym and watch a family friendly movie together while grabbing some pop corn, and drinks from the conssession stand.) This school also observes National Day of Prayer by inviting students and their family to join in a circle around the flag pole to pray before school begins. So many more opportunities. It is awsome!!

Liberty school, in my opinion is one of the best schools in the state of Indiana. The extracurricular activities, parent involvment, and additional education programs are second to none. The teachers are very dedicated in each childs educational development. It shows in the was the children speak about them. That is headed up by Mr. Wilson the principal, who has a genuine love of children. When we first came to Liberty School, it was he that took the time to show us around. I would recommend Liberty School and its staff to anyone, and have. If you are thinking of moving to Indiana, or the area it would be in your child betterment to give them a look.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.
