A great school! My oldest son started at TVMS when he was 15 months old and now is 2.5 yrs old. He has learned a lot. We chose this school because it is very traditional Montessori and has very low ratios. My 5-month-old is in the infant class where they have 2 babies per caregiver! (Now we live in Katy and I can't find any daycare with that low of a ratio.) All the teachers know both of my boys and are always helpful and happy to see them. They have all been nurturing as well and address any concerns or needs immediately. I like the Montessori focus on citizenship and independence.
My 3-year-old daughter went to the school for over a year. The staff were very nurturing and caring. The administrator did spend time on communicating to parents.
This school is a very positive place for children. The staff is very nurturing and the enrichment activities are great...especially Arts Ala Carte!
This is a great school! I worked at the school several years ago for 3 years while attending college. I worked directly with the owner in her classroom in the mornings and she is a phenomenal loving teacher who has a genuine love for the children. It was a wonderful learning experience, the parents and kids were fantastic and it is a true Montessori learning environment. It is far from a day care. I have in the past worked in my share of those also. You can rest assure your child is in a loving caring place while at this school.
