In my opinion Ninnekah has a wonderful school system. The teachers seem to care about the kids and are very involved with them. The principal is also great a little overbearing at times, but great. I would recommend sending any child to these rural schools. I sometimes feel like an outcast because I am not originally from Ninnekah, but for the most people have tried to make me feel welcome.

A family of kids working to help each other be successful and reach their dreams describes the student body. Typical of a rural school. Admin and teachers are concentrating on core courses and college bound issues. Students are given as much as they are willing to receive in order to continue in a higher education setting. Activities share students and encourage participation while being attentive to academic success. Passing is set at 70 and adhered to. Teachers and admin willing to make the tough stand and encourage parents to do the same. Counselor who is willing take on even the most difficult of circumstances and promote higher education. Parent volunteers working with the staff to secure student optimum choices for students of all levels.
