This school is definitely not what it use to be. I have three kids that are attending ranging from K-3. The classrooms are overcrowded and the students are not getting the attention that is needed. The 3rd grade teachers are extremely young with an "out dont care" attitude.

My children attend Arrowhead for the first time during the 08-09 school year. Both of their teachers were excellent. My children were exposed to so many new and wonderful ideas that it was immediately reflected in their behavior and abilities at home. My son was in kindergarten discussing interjections! Also the Admin staff is wonderful. The principal is an excellent resource and I don't know how we would have survived with out the parent teacher liason.

I was very pleased with the instuction that my daughter had in pre-k. The teachers were wonderful, and my daughter was excited to get to school everyday. However we were not that lucky in 1st grade. I spent many days in the classroom, and I realized that the children in one particular 1st grade class were being rushed with work. Concepts were not being mastered, tasks unfinished. I stopped helping inn the classroom out of frustration, and only paticipated in field trips. At the end of 1st grade, my child did not learn anything new than what she had from pre-k.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
