Mr. D and all of the teachers at MES are extraordinarily dedicated to meeting the needs of each student and at the same time making each child feel special. My daughters love going to school each day and I am very proud of what they are learning. Most important to me is the school environment, which stresses the Golden Rule. I am very happy with MES!

I have to say Mr. D is great. The kids really like and respect him. I am a little disappointed that last year 4th grade did not teach in levels and I think that is very beneficial to the students. This year is going okay but the teacher has my son do redo and re-grade the work that he is struggling with, does the grade he is receiving actually reflect what is going on with his learning? Staff is good, and my children have never felt unsafe or have I worried about their safety.

Wow...this school made huge strides in technology last year. I can't wait to see what this awsome staff has in store this year.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
