I would like to say that as a Parent and Teacher this is the best school my children ever came too! I still have one more and he will get the best care and teaching there is. Come see for your self.
Great little school! Staff to student ratio is great, the teachers are polite and interested, and lunch is provided four days a week. Our son is learning so much and more importantly, looks forward to school. The owner is welcoming and friendly and sets a great atmosphere for the school in general. Highly recommended.
My daughter has been going to Children s Hour for a little over three years, and I can t say enough good things about it. First of all, the education is magnificent. My daughter has certainly found herself and is much more precocious than she used to be. She decided that she wants to be not just a doctor, but a pancreas doctor ... (my wife bought her an anatomy poster for her room). Children s Hour has encouraged her to inquire and question... to be honest sometimes I can t keep up with all the questions she asks. One of her classmates enrolled at River Oaks Elementary and was actually able to test out of kindergarten! My daughter has also learned some ballet, she has learned some swimming, and she knows her letters and numbers. Even though she is only four, she has set herself the goal of learning to read, (she is the youngest in the family and feels it is terribly unfair that she is the only person in the family that can t read) and Children s Hour is helping her make this happen. Most importantly, Children s Hour has provided a safe, educational, and affordable place for my daughter to go while my wife and I are at work. Four days a week she gets a hot and nutritious lunch that is cooked on site, and unlike school food it is actually very good, because they cook it from scratch. When I drop her off in the morning, more often than not the vegetable soup, red rice and beans, or pot roast will already be simmering, and OH it smells SO GOOD! I don t know how Miss Susan does it on the low tuition she charges, but if you get a chance to send your son or daughter to Children s Hour, grab it!
My son has a month already there and I have some concerns about the place, for example the toys seems to be not used by kids, the look dirty (with sand). And my big issue here is that I haven't receive yet any report of my son's performance or work (and I paid 50 for materials) Every week I just receive a paper with something that he did but not a complete report. One good thing that I see is that they have healthy fruits for them everyday. So this place is on observation by me.
