I would say overall this experience we have had as a parent of a freshman at Sussex Central has been great. Coming from another state in the fifth grade his teachers worked with him on the new curriculum and encouraged a health eductional relationship. I like the team spirit of the teachers and look forward too four more successful years for my child and even more for my grandchildren soon entering the district.

Sussex Cemtral is a excellent school. I went there when I was younger and now my child goes there. This is her first year and they just moved in there new building. The teaching is great and the teachers are very helpful and they offer a lot of time to help the students one on one.

Find something you are good at or enjoy doing a lot, just one thing. You'll gain confidence and meet other kids that enjoy that activity too. Mine was singing in choir. I wasn't good at anything else but that built my confidence for other things... More »
