Rainbow Montessori is a very good school. We found Ms. Sreedevi is a great teacher for PreK, . She spends individual and small goup time with her children and she has reading programme which makes children good readers.She makes them to read and write. The math she teaches her children is advanced too, depending on your child of course. We are very glad to have Ms.sreedevi's class room for my daughter.
Rainbow Montessori is a great school. Do your research. We found Ms. Sreedevi is a good teacher for PreK, she is strict and disciplined, this is good for kids that age. She has a reading programme that makes very easy to learn how to read. She spends time with small group and individual time with her children and teaches them to read and write. The math she teaches her children is advanced too, Now my son became good reader ,and doing math in advance. depending on your child of course. She is a very good teacher .
My son was very shy when he first attended Rainbow Montessori. He came from different preschool and it took him a little while to adjust with his Kindergarten. However, we were fortunate to have Ms. Natalie in the very first year. She is very passonate with kids at the age of 5 - 6. This is her quote 'Teaching a kid to learn how to read is much easier than teaching them how to be a good person'. Now, my son is in 1st grade and he just got his first presentation done in class with so much confidence. He has definitely learned that confidence from his very first teacher here at Rainbow Montessori. However, I have done some researches and know that not all teachers have the same way of teaching kids although they are teaching at the same level, using the same materials and having the same curriculum.
My older child was in Ms.Natalie class 3 years ago. She was amazing. My younger on e (unfortunately) didn't get the spot on her class this year. We were number 27 on the wait list for Ms.Natalie's class. Just an advice for other parents: don't delay on submitting the change of schedule forms. It is hard to get the spot in best teacher classes's.
