The elementary schools and teachers seem ok. Middle and high school teachers do not seem to care much about what they do. There is heavy concentration and prepping for PSSA to make everyone think the are doing their jobs. By high school, ready to pull out my hair as interaction with teachers is limited to a short, specific time of day--to their favor. Your child could fail and you will not hear a word. The principals at elem. and high school are a joke. These "men" should be glad they have their jobs as they would never make it outside the school walls. Middle school prin. was pretty ok. Overall I would highly NOT recommend this district. They just do not care about grades.

My daughter graduated from here and I have one more that will have to go through this school. I don't have the best review to write, it is a school concentrating on sports more than any other activity but that is not uncommon these days.

The academic programs leave something to be desired in the way of the arts, but offer plenty to those more into athletics and sports. The academic programs are standard with friendly, interesting teachers.

This school is a joke, they spend millions to redo a high school that is an eye sore, instead of spending money on class rooms and updating education, they spend it on a gym that is still too small to house playoff games. They increase the size of the adminstration office, for what? all they do is take up space, they don't even know what there job is! I am ashamed to even say I went to this school. The school board is a joke, they run for office as long as their kids are in school- to get what they want for their child and then leave after they graduate, no wonder no one knows what is going on.
