I think WMS is getting a bad rap for previous years. They are making strides to improve academic achievement goals and behavioral improvement through a PBS program. However, growth and change cannot happen alone. Cooperation, communication, collaboration as well as support from staff, administrators and parents are key!
I will never send another one of my children to Windham Middle. One of my sons teachers un assigned 2 major assignments (for the whole class), he said he gave up. The reason he gave was that only a few students did the earlier assigmnents. So- give them zero's. I want my children to get an education. It shouldnt' be dependent on what the other students do. It's my opinion that the school can't afford there students to fail, even if it means they slide through the system. Besides the education piece, the amount of profanity my child hears is outrgageous. Bullying is also a large problem. I wish I could give a better report, I really do.
The school caters to minorities an pays no attention to anyone else.It is unorganized to say the leased.I am not sending my child back to the school I feel it is a dangerous place.
This school is awful the teachers just don't care about the children's education Very unorganized school.
