Douglas High School is great place to teach. The administration is supportive of learning and expectations are high. The students are focused and feel safe on the campus as I do. I love these students they are so polite and are enthusiastic about their education. I feel the administration has worked very hard to make it a great place to learn and work.

DHS is a performing plus school and has made AYP again. The Advanced Placement program is outstanding. My child is flourishing here and the new media technology class has given my child a chance to nurture her artistic side. What a great school! Safety is key to the administration and as soon as you walk on campus you can sense the academics that are taking place. Orderly and polite kids no matter where you go. A great place for students.

I am a newly graduate of Douglas High School, and i can honestly say that my high school career at DHS was awesome. By awesome i mean we as students got it all. Academic wise the school is at its best ! the relationship the teachers and staff members have with the students is extraordanary ! all of the faculty at DHS cares for the students! they always went the extra mile to make our 4yr stay the most comfortable and well spent. the amount of knowledge i accumlated is enormous. DHS always STRIVES to put the students well being before anything! i love that school, and i would llike to thank DHS for the most amazing 4 yrs. of my life !
