My son has attended YRES for the past 3 years and has had great teachers who sincerely care about their students. They go over and beyond what is required for those students who need extra help. The new administrative staff has also been a great addition. I am greatful my son has been able to attend York Road!

York Road is an excellent school with fantastic teachers and a wonderful new administrative staff. Everyone should want to send their children to York Road!

The school has very poor leadership. There is not enough done for the good students who make good grades and dont get into trouble. They District Office seems to think that as look as the test scores are OK it doesn't matter. They need to come bvisit and talk to some parents.

This school is typical of all schools in RH, they use old school methods, like punishment, to to gets results. Punishment teaches a child nothing. They have round holes and if your child is a round peg, the child will do fine at this school like any other school, if your child is a square peg, the child will major difficulties. Poor leadership within this school. Research proven concepts like positive reinforcers, which require the educators to think, are alien concepts to them. The District's Superintendent and other administrative people need to be run out of town. For cheerleading parents who disagree with these opinions, wait till your child needs help, then pass judgement. There is no accountability within this school district. Taxpayers give them more money, and they build more buildings, and then they pat themselves on the back for the good job their doing.
