4 reviews of this school
If your a student on the fringes, this school pays no attention. ADD or special needs students are second class citizens here.
I am not a parent of an MHS student, but I was a student myself. I believe that MHS provided me with the education I needed to succeed at the University I am now attending. Most of the teachers I encountered during my 4 years at the high school were wonderful (one worth mentioning was Mr. Don Klever), they went out of their way to help their students and discuss issues with them that involved both school and issues outside of the classroom. I carried a 3.25 GPA at MHS and if that says anything, it should say that I received a quality education by teachers and adminsitrators that cared.
I think the most important aspect of a school is the quality of teachers. These teachers care about their students and like what they do for a living. Teachers are more than happy to talk to parents about their child's work at school. And the parental involvement is wonderful.
